The Maryland Council on Economic Education believes that it is every citizen’s right and responsibility to become economically and financially literate. To achieve the goal of economic and financial literacy, the Council works to assure that Maryland’s school children learn the economic and financial knowledge they will need to make thoughtful, informed economic and personal finance decisions as consumer, savers, investors, workers, and citizens.
