How the Fed Implements Monetary Policy

The way the Federal Reserve conducts monetary policy has changed over time. Attend this Evening with the Fed, hosted in partnership with the Maryland Council on Economic Education (MCEE), to learn about the new tools of monetary policy and hear from our education team about how you can incorporate these new tools into your curriculum.

Evening with the Fed is a professional development opportunity for educators to hear about current topics in economics and personal finance. Each program consists of a lecture or panel from subject matter experts, followed by a sharing of resources that educators can use with their students. Evening with the Fed is presented by the Richmond Fed in partnership with local organizations engaged in economic and personal finance education.
