Exploring Careers in Finance-Panel Discussion

As we close out Women's History Month and prepare to celebrate Financial Literacy Month, the Maryland Council on Economic Education is pleased to bring together a panel of distinguished professionals from across the financial sector to talk about career opportunities in finance.

The panel will be moderated by esteemed financial journalist and MCEE Chairperson, Karen Gibbs.

Sindhu Leyser: Chief Financial Officer at McCormick Canada

Tammy Counts: Agency Owner at State Farm Insurance

Ritta McLaughlin:  Former Investment Banker and Current Director of Investor Education Community Outreach at the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.

The panelists will discuss their personal career journeys and advice they would offer to current middle and high school students who are thinking about how to integrate their passions and interests into a rewarding professional career.
