Join us for a day-long professional development workshop exploring one of the most engaging topics in economics education: entrepreneurship. This FTE-led seminar equips educators with ready-to-use resources and hands-on activities to teach the risks and rewards of starting a business through the lens of key economic principles.
Participants will explore foundational concepts like the role of entrepreneurs in the economy, alongside practical topics such as market structures, economic institutions, and business ethics. The day includes interactive elements such as self-assessments, supply-and-demand simulations, and global market analysis designed to help students grapple with the complexities of entrepreneurship. FTE instructors will also address current issues future entrepreneurs need to understand, including supply chains, AI, international trade, and business plan development.
This workshop is ideal for teachers of entrepreneurship, economics, and general business courses, and its lessons are designed to work as standalone activities or as a full framework for a semester-long course.

- Participants must be full-time educators during the 2026-2027 school year
- Complete the program and receive a $100 stipend (plus your $25 deposit back)
