In this session we will demo and learn about three brand new lessons hosted by the St. Louis Fed on the economics of gambling. These lessons all focus on active learning and help students not only understand the economic concepts of gambling but also the warning signs of problem gambling. Students will learn how to identify problem gambling, learn to understand the risks associated with gambling, and also learn about the world of sports betting and the incentives at play in that arena. Teachers will leave with three ready to use lessons they can try in their classrooms the next day!
