Donating as a Corporation or Foundation
Investing in Maryland’s Future
At the Maryland Council on Economic Education (MCEE), we believe every student deserves the knowledge and confidence to make sound financial decisions. Corporate and foundation support plays a critical role in making that vision a reality. Your partnership helps fund innovative programs, teacher training, and statewide initiatives that bring vital economic and financial education to K–12 classrooms across Maryland.
Why Partner With MCEE?
Economic and financial literacy isn’t just about money — it’s about opportunity. With your support, students gain the tools to make informed choices, break cycles of generational poverty, and build stronger futures for themselves and their communities. Partnering with MCEE is more than a contribution; it’s an investment in equity, empowerment, and lasting social impact.
Your Dollars at Work
Every contribution to MCEE matters. Here’s how your support can make a difference:
- $500: Equips a classroom with essential books and materials, including resources like Math in the Real World, Financial Fitness for Life, and Playful Economics.
- $1,000: Supports a student team for a year in the Stock Market Game, a hands-on program that teaches lifelong skills in saving and investing.
- $1,500: Provides a full scholarship for a teacher to attend the national Council on Economic Education’s Annual Conference, offering training and best practices in financial literacy.
- $5,000: Platinum Sponsorship of our Teacher Summit, which includes workshops, an exhibit table, signage, and a full-page ad in the event program.
- $10,000: Sponsors the State Economic Challenge Program, where top student teams compete at state, national, and international levels.
- $25,000: Exclusive sponsorship of MCEE programs in a chosen area, covering student programs like the Stock Market Game and teacher training events, with available media coverage.
MCEE is proud to be recognized as a Community Reinvestment Act eligible organization by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
