Want to learn more about this important and timely topic? Educators are invited to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Baltimore Office, and the Maryland Council on Economic Education for an in-person professional development seminar exploring the timely issues of tariffs and inflation.
Federal Reserve economists will provide insights into how tariffs impact trade, prices, and the broader economy, as well as the role of inflation in shaping economic policy and everyday financial decision-making. This program is designed especially for all educators who want to deepen their understanding of these key economic concepts and bring real-world applications back to the classroom. Curricular connections include economics, history, government, personal finance, mathematics, and business education. All interested educators are invited this professional development opportunity.
Parking: Onsite parking for this event at the Baltimore Branch is limited. Additional paid parking options are available nearby, including the parking garages at the Sheraton and Hyatt Hotels. The Baltimore Branch is also conveniently located near the Camden Yards Light Rail station for those who wish to use mass transit.
